Society of Camera Operators Technical Achievement Award 2004

Gary Thieltges of Doggicam Systems received the Technical Achievement Award on the 25th anniversary of the SOC for the development of the Bodymount System. This versatile system provides the ability to mount the camera anywhere around the subject and locks the frame to their every move.  It has become a part of the visual language of cinema today.


Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Scientific and Technical Achievement Awards. 2005

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awarded the 2005 Technical Achievement Award to Gary Thieltges of Doggicam Systems in recognition of the development of the Sparrow Head and its significant contribution to the art of cinematography.  The presentation was made at the Awards Ceremony on February 18, 2006. The Sparrow Head has contributed to the visual impact of hundreds of motion pictures, commercials, music videos and television shows.
